| A premier benefit of membership is our POSTS newsletter, successor to a tradition of continuous publication since the second month of the organization's existence in June of 1978. That first edition was produced with editor / assembler, predating the availabilty of microcomputer word processing programs.
Posts is published eight times per year in a 16 page magazine format, and is available as both a print and electronic (pdf) document. The black and white print publication is sent by first class mail; a download link to the color pdf version is provided to members by email. Members may 'opt out' of receiving the print version by request, with a message to the group's membership chair.
Reprint Policy: Permission to reprint articles from the PATACS Posts is given to school, personal computer club, and nonprofit organization publications, provided that: (a) PATACS Inc. receives a copy of the publication; (b) credit is given to the PATACS Posts as the source; (c) the original author is given full credit; and (d) the article author has not expressly copyrighted the article. Recognition is one
means of compensating our valued contributors.
